The latest celeb couple on the verge—allegedly—is Jennifer Hudson and Common. Rumors that the two Oscar winners are romantically involved are spreading after the pair have been spotted together recently.
According to People, Hudson, 41, and Common, 50, were photographed leaving the Malibu restaurant Nobu on Wednesday, February 22, after rumors originally surfaced last year. Nobu is basically the hot spot for celebs, and especially for celebs who are secretly dating and attempting to make a soft launch. The two initially sparked dating rumors back in 2022, when they were spotted together on several occasions. Hudson denied the romance in September 2022.
“People create their narratives of it and it’s like, OK, you know, how you feel,” Hudson told Entertainment Tonight when asked about the rumors. “We shot a film together and he played my husband. We gotta eat in between those moments.” Hudson and Common will appear in the action thriller Breathe alongside stars Milla Jovovich, Sam Worthington, and Quvenzhané Wallis. In the film, Jennifer Hudson and Common play a husband and wife in a world in which Earth is uninhabitable due to a lack of oxygen. Based on Hudson’s comment back in September, the outing to Nobu last week could have been strictly platonic, but we’ll watch the gossip spaces for updates.
