Britney Spears looked amazing on the red carpet at the 2016 MTV VMAs Sunday (August 28). However, a certain pose she struck on the red carpet gave us some serious déjà vu.
The pose in question: Spears with her hands behind her back, serving up a smile that reads, "I'd rather set fire to my face than take this picture right now." (Which is how I feel any time I take a photo, to be honest.)
The look dates back to Spears' Crossroads era. Here she is in 2002 (wearing a 2002-as-hell outfit), standing like she'd prefer jumping off a cruise ship.
