There are five short weeks left in the seventh and final season of Pretty Little Liars—and we already have a ton of clues about how the series ends. Ashley Benson let the cat out of the bag on the fate of Spencer and Toby's relationship, and according to Ian Harding and last week's episode, it's very possible that the wildly popular "Spencer Has an Evil Twin" theory is true. Now we know what the first line of the finale is—and it made every one of the stars cry.

In an interview with Entertainment Weekly, Shay Mitchell, Lucy Hale, Ashley Benson, Troian Bellisario, and Sasha Pieterse along with writer, producer, and director I. Marlene King, sat down to discuss filming the final episode of the show. When it came time to read through the episode, there was one line in the script that almost stopped the stars from moving forward with their day. "Was it the very first sentence that someone had to say something, and we all just started crying?” Benson asked. “We couldn’t even do it. We almost weren’t able to even start the table read because it was just so heavy.”

It turns out it was one of Pieterse's lines for her character, Alison. It's so apropos that we don't blame them for tearing up: “I feel like this is the end of something," it read.

Too soon. Too real.

It was the last scene the five stars filmed together, but King had them shoot it before the final day of filming because she knew everyone would be too much of a mess. “I couldn’t talk,” Pieterse says, adding that she had to reread her lines because they sounded too emotional.

That's not the only heartbreaking line in the final episodes of the show. In the promo for the final 10 episodes, Bellisario's character, Spencer, quotes Winnie the Pooh in a favorite yearbook sentiment: “How lucky am I to have something that makes saying goodbye so hard.”

It will be way too hard saying goodbye to these characters on June 27.
