The second season of Stranger Things is dropping in a few days, and there are a ton of questions fans need answered—chiefly, what the hell happened to Eleven (Millie Bobby Brown)? If you remember from the first season finale, Eleven essentially vanished, and Hopper (David Harbour) was seen dropping off a box of Eggo Waffles in the woods. So does this mean Eleven is trapped somewhere out there? Or maybe she's even further…like in the Upside Down?

A new clip from the second season gives us the answer. Yes, Eleven is stuck in the Upside Down, but fans shouldn't worry: She gets out. Of course, her journey to safety isn't easy; in fact, it's exactly the opposite—and very, very gross.

In the clip, below, watch as Eleven uses some of her reality-bending mind powers to get the hell out of the Upside Down. She starts by finding a slimy exit hole that takes her to a hallway of their town's high school. Then she expands the hole and physically pushes herself out of it. It's a very graphic and creepy—but visually stunning—scene. The Upside Down is an icky place, sure, but its neon aesthetic actually makes it look beautiful in some shots.

Don't take our word for it, though. Check out the new clip yourself:

Stranger Things 2 officially hits Netflix on October 27, and the season is pretty much shrouded in secrecy. We know there are nine episodes and that the season takes place in 1984, but that's about it. Well, that's a lie: It's pretty much a guarantee this new season will be terrifying as hell—far scarier than the first chapter. Get ready.
