"The very first time we met," Prince Harry said when a journalist asked when he knew Markle was The One. Love at first sight is real, people—and this future duke and duchess are proof of it.

Markle and Prince Harry's engagement announcement this morning came with several statements from their loved ones. "We are incredibly happy for Meghan and Harry," Markle's parents said. "Our daughter has always been a kind and loving person. To see her union with Harry, who shares the same qualities, is a source of great joy and passion for us parents. We wish them a lifetime of happiness and are very excited for their future together."
"We are very excited for Harry and Meghan," Prince William and Kate Middleton, Duchess of Cambridge, also said in a statement. "It has been wonderful getting to know Meghan and to see how happy she and Harry are together."
