Let's face it, you'll never actually become a member of the royal family, but wouldn't working alongside them be a nice consolation?

Prince William and Kate Middleton, a.k.a. the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge, as well as Prince Harry are currently on a hiring spree and looking for a capable person to join their team in London. The trio has taken to LinkedIn—royals, they're just like us!—to find a senior communications officer to work with them, with the main focus being to help run The Royal Foundation smoothly. The mid-senior level position is based in London and applicants must have significant experience in the public relations, media, or marketing fields. A relevant college degree is also a must.

"This role will work both reactively and proactively to manage the daily news flow to the media, ensuring items are accurately and positively reported and received by audiences via traditional, digital, and social media," the job page on LinkedIn reads. "The successful candidate will play a key role in the development and implementation of the communications strategy for The Royal Foundation and producing and delivering creative communications campaigns. They will take the lead on The Royal Foundation communications plans and the delivery of engagements as necessary and will work closely with both TRH's Communications Secretary and the CEO of the Foundation." (So, more about the trio's philanthropic pursuits and less about Meghan Markle rumors and tweeting Prince George and Princess Charlotte pics.)

Additionally, the communications gig calls for someone with a natural on-camera presence, as leading public briefings will be involved. (They don't want a Sean Spicer situation on their hands, it seems.) "Drafting and circulating Press Lines will also be a key part of the role, as well as organizing and giving press briefings and responding to out of hour's media enquiries," the job description continues. "The Senior Communications Officer will also be required to conduct research for special projects and contribute to strategic discussions and will provide support to the overall Household communications team."

This isn't the first time the royal family has taken to online job postings to fill a coveted role. In March, Middleton was searching for a new private secretary, and in 2016 people were scrambling to be Queen Elizabeth II's new social media manager. The royals also use a job board to get the word out about career listings.

If this particular listing is tickling your fancy, you can apply directly on the LinkedIn page. But beware—unsurprisingly, it's a very in-demand position, and more than a thousand people have applied so far. Good luck!
