It’s a common misconception that Gwyneth Paltrow gets through life on a diet of activated cashews and Vegenaise. But the actress and goop founder is a fan of a little butter with her pancakes, and killer fried fish tacos. Paltrow's*It's All Easy* is her third cookbook in five years, and is chock full of healthy, weeknight recipes that home cooks will relish. Paltrow recently stopped by our podcast studio to chat with host Adam Rapoport. (The two have a long history—GP graced the cover of Rapoport's very first issue as Bon Appétit's editor in chief.)

It's All Easy is available now.

Paltrow talks about teaching herself to cook from books, eating and adventuring with her late father, Bruce Paltrow, and how she curbs hunger pangs when it's 4 p.m. and all she wants is a bag of pretzels.

But wait, there's more: Afterward, Adam and senior editor Julia Kramer call up deputy editor Andrew Knowlton on his drive down Interstate 85 as he treks around the South scouting restaurants for this year's Hot 10. What else is he subsisting on besides corn dogs, pizza, steak, and country ham and biscuits? You'll have to listen to find out.
