Earlier this month, Rob Kardashian hit a gross low when he posted nude photos of his on-again, off-again girlfriend Blac Chyna without her consent. This was apparently done out of anger, because Kardashian accompanied the pictures with slut-shaming captions that accused Chyna of cheating on him; in other messages, he asserted the amount of money he spent on Chyna somehow earned him her loyalty, which is problematic in more ways than one. The incident—a clear case of revenge porn—caused Chyna to seek a restraining order against Kardashian. In an interview with Good Morning America, she said she felt "devastated" and "betrayed" by her ex.
And now Chyna's best friend, Amber Rose, is chiming in on the situation—but her thoughts aren't as, erm, muted. In an episode of Complex's video series Everyday Struggle, the SlutWalk founder goes in on Kardashian for what he did to Chyna.
"That's some sucker ass s--t," Rose said. "That's some f--kboy ass s--t. You don't do that."
She continued, "Rob should've been a mature adult and had a conversation with Chyna...He didn't have to go on the Internet and be petty. Now he's dealing with revenge porn and stuff like that. You can't do s--t like that. It's time to grow up and handle your business properly. You have a kid that's going to forever see that s--t." Check out Rose's episode of Everyday Struggle, below:
Rose also has an issue with the idea that Chyna schemed her way into Kardashian's life just so she could take his money.
"You know, people look at Chyna and they just go, 'Oh, she got Rob's everything—child, she's taking Rob's money.' [But] she's not that type of person, and neither am I," Rose said. "We're not out trying to finesse motherf--kers. We have our own money! People fail to realize...me and Chyna got money. We're straight."
People had similar opinions about Rose when she dated Kanye West back in 2009. In fact, this is a narrative many women have to deal with, yet men are hardly ever categorized as "gold diggers." But hats off to Rose for setting the record straight and defending Chyna. No one has your back quite like your best friend.
