The Today Show Announces Charlie Sheen Will Make a "Personal Announcement" Amid HIV Rumors

After reports last week that a mysterious A-list Hollywood actor is secretly HIV positive, both TMZ and People are reporting that the actor in question is Charlie Sheen. Meanwhile, the Today show has announced that Sheen will make "a personal announcement in an exclusive interview with Matt Lauer on Tuesday, November 17." While we won't know for sure until tomorrow's segment what the announcement is about, People reports that "according to top Hollywood publicist and crisis manager Howard Bragman, he was approached by people close to Sheen six months ago to deal with the crisis, but never dealt with him directly." Bragman told People, "The interview could open up a lot of sympathy for him, but he has to be concerned about a fear of litigation from former sexual partners. You don't take that lightly." We'll be tuning in tomorrow, and we're thinking of Sheen and his family regardless of what the news is. More from Glamour:
