YouTube Star PewDiePie Makes $15 Million in 2016

Lilly Singh and Tyler Oakley also top the list.

Being a YouTube star certainly pays off – especially for Felix Kjellberg, who is most often known as PewDiePie. He's been named the wealthiest YouTuber by Forbes — and by a long shot, too. PewDiePie has earned $15 million this year for the videos he produces for his 50 million followers.

Other popular YouTubers joined PewDiePie on the elite list, such as Roman Atwood and Lilly Singh. Roman claimed the number two slot, earning $8 million this year for his prank videos. Lilly Singh – whom you may know as IISuperwomanII – came in third, with an annual gross income of $7.5 million.

The top ten list also included Tyler Oakley and Miranda Sings. You can see the whole list below — and maybe dust off your video editing skills for 2017.
