One Day has been on my mind ever since I binged every single episode this week, and to be honest, I'm not sure I'll ever be the same. Who was Justin Eely?

Justin was a London-based finishing editor based who worked on One Day and clearly played a key role in making the show the success that it is. Finishing editors take on the technical role of editing the very final part of production before it's released.

Having previously worked on shows such as The Crown, Killing Eve, Bodies, and Asteroid City, according to his IMDb, Eely was involved in the film and TV industry for over 20 years, working across more than 100 productions.

Justin Eely was well loved in the industry, with a previous employer even saying that he was someone “anyone would want on their team” and that he loved “the process of collaborating with the many creative people who visit his edit suite during the finishing phase of their shows.”

Eely's Instagram has been set to private, though other publications report that he sadly leaves behind his partner and daughter.
