Some happy news from over the weekend: Joe Jonas and Sophie Turner are engaged. The DNCE singer popped the question to the Game of Thrones actress with a stunning pear-shaped, double-banded ring, and according to an adorable Instagram post shared to both of their accounts, she said yes.
Though many, many hearts have inevitably been broken over the fact that their teenage crush is officially off the market ("Joe Jonas & Sophie Turner are engaged so that's pretty rude since I have a shirt I puff painted from 8th grade that says I'm Mrs. Joe Jonas," tweeted one user upon hearing the news), the pair's celebrity friends have turned to social media to share their congratulations.
"HUGE CONGRATS," wrote Demi Lovato in a comment on the engagement announcement photo that Jonas posted to his account. "Sooooo happy for the both of you!" She and Jonas met while filming the Disney Channel Original Movie Camp Rock, dated briefly in 2010, and have remained friendly ever since. Lovato also followed Turner on Instagram shortly after the photos were posted, which means she'll be able to stay up-to-date on any future wedding announcements from either account.

Selena Gomez, who dated Jonas's little brother, Nick, nearly 10 years ago, commented "Congratulations," on the same photo along with the confetti emoji.
Nick also had a sweet message for his older brother (and former Jonas Brothers bandmate) and his new fiancée: "Ahh! Congratulations to my brother…and sister in law to be on your engagement. I love you both so much," he captioned a repost of the announcement photo.

Not to be outdone by Jonas's cheer squad, Turner's BFF and Game of Thrones costar Maisie Williams shared her excitement for the couple via multiple social media posts. "Queen," she wrote in a comment on the announcement pic, along a queen emoji and a pink heart. "I love you so much xo." She then reposted the photo to her own account, writing, "Congratulations to my beautiful girlfriend on her engagement. This is just one of MANY life milestones we'll share. Love you both."
