We're guessing you haven't spent a ton of time wondering where dildos come from (after all, you usually have something else on your mind when you're using one). But just in case you have, BuzzFeed Video posted a clip to its Facebook page Wednesday that goes inside a company that makes about 15,000 sex toys a day.
In the video, BuzzFeed talks to several employees at Doc Johnson, who explain that many of the prototypes are actually sculpted by a dildo artist (yup, it's a thing!), while others are molded from porn stars' penises.
After dildos are made, there are people who actually inspect each one and do any necessary trimming and/or ironing to make them perfect. Who knew?!
