It looks like Kim Kardashian and Kanye West's family might be expanding sooner than we expected: Us Weekly reports that the couple's surrogate is three months pregnant.

The news that the Wests hired a surrogate for baby number three broke only last month, but if you keep up with them (pun intended), then you know they've been thinking about expanding their family for a while. On the last season of Keeping Up With the Kardashians, Kim revealed she's having trouble accepting the fact pregnancy is now unsafe for her. (She had placenta accreta during her last pregnancy, which happens when the placenta binds itself too closely to the uterine wall. As a result of this, doctors told her traditional conception is no longer a good idea.)

“I can’t carry anymore kids…it’s the worst,” she told her friend Jonathan Cheban on the show. “It’s not going to be happy for me…. I had a full break down…I give up.”

But she still wanted to have a family—“I’d just love nothing more than to expand my family and just know that I have this world at home that’s safe," she also said on the show—so the couple turned to surrogacy.

According to Us Weekly, Wests' surrogate (who was referred to them by an agency) is in her midtwenties and lives in San Diego. She's allegedly receiving $45,000 via 10 monthly payments of $4,500. (West and Kardashian also reportedly put down a $68,850 deposit with the agency.)

In 2014 Kardashian told Ellen DeGeneres that she hopes to have a really big family. "I have so many siblings and I love it, they're my best friends and I would love that for my kids," she said.

If the surrogate is three months along, that puts baby number three's due date around January 2018. Kardashian and West haven't commented on this news—yet.
